It All Started With A Vision
Northern RI Strength and Conditioning started with a vision to build open a group training strength and conditioning facility in Northern RI focused on enhancing the daily lives of its members. Since we opened our doors on June 1, 2013, we have been combining traditional strength and conditioning with CrossFit methodology, creating a safe and effective program that can be implemented and is accessible to all levels of abilities, and individuals. Within six months, the needs of our growing client base, surpassed our original location, and the business grew into an 11,000 sq ft facility. Since then we have grown as a community and offer not only CrossFit, but small group training, personal training, and CrossFit Kids. Through our program we also have served as an outreach location for local schools, and community centers.
And It Continues To Grow
Trying to utilize all parts of our facility, and reach as many people as we can on their quest for improved health and fitness, we tried several programs, unsuccessfully. In June of 2017, the answer appeared, and No Risk Sports Performance, home of Parisi Speed School of RI was established. With Parisi, we have the best system to give us the ability to enhance the lives and athleticism of young athletes throughout RI and Southern MA. The goal is to help build a stronger, faster, healthier and more confident young adult, with the benefits of the Parisi system extending outside the playing arena.
Grow With Us And Enhance Our Vision
Our vision today is to become the leader for all things health, fitness and wellness related in Northern RI. By expanding our services to work with local corporations and companies, with local and state agencies, and organizations, we can help create healthier and happier employees, and happier and healthier communities. Each individual or group we work with helps us grow and enhance the services we offer our community. We are excited about our future and the opportunities we have to work with the communities around us.
Founder and Program Director
The driving force behind Northern RI Strength and Conditioning is Judah Boulet. Judah started his career in the research lab, but the lack of interaction, and his desire to coach educate drove him to the classroom. After several years of instructing at community colleges, he worked for ten years as a high school science teacher, and created a strong high school boys rugby program at the school he worked. During his teaching tenure, he realized his true love was nutrition and strength and conditioning. This matched well with his love of science. He got involved in his first CrossFit gym in 2008, and the business in 2010. Since then he has worked hard to expand his knowledge base to better serve the members and the communities surrounding Northern RI Strength and Conditioning.
